Operation Principle
PRDs are equipped with CsI (Tl) and 3He detectors for detection of gamma and neutron radiation sources. PM1401GNM detectors perform the following functions: detection of gamma and neutron radiation sources, even if they are shielded; warning the user about radioactive hazard with audible, visual and vibrating alarms; recording and storage of data (up to 1000 events) in non-volatile memory; data transfer to a PC via IR channel for processing and analysis. For work in difficult-to-access areas telescopic extension tube is provided.
Application
PM1401GNM detectors are recommended for first responders, emergency teams, police, customs officers and border patrol, hazmat teams, security guards
Standards Compliance
Designed to meet ANSI N42.32-2006, ANSI N42.33 -2006, IEC 62401:2007,ITRAP+10 (IAEA) requirements
